A COLLECTED LIFE

Making,
growing,
noticing &
preserving
the things that
matter.

Stories from the garden, the studio, the kitchen—and the life gathered between them.

Explore the stories

I make things. I grow things. I pay attention to things that other people might pass by—and then I tell their stories.

FEATURED PROJECT

Anne’s House

A little garden with a big heart, named for my grandmother Anne and rooted in memories of cucumbers, dill, sunflowers and the feeling that good things are meant to be shared.

FROM THE JOURNAL

Stories worth keeping

Notes from gardens, kitchens, skies, old collections and whatever has caught my eye lately.

01

To ‘DAY’ or To ‘DAH’

Some gardening debates are worth having… and some are just plain fun. This is one of those stories. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of tea (or coffee), and let’s tackle one of gardening’s oldest questions.

ART & NOTICING

Looking
closely is part
of the making.

Paintings, photographs, restored images, cloud studies and the beautiful evidence of a curious mind at work.

HEART PRINTS

Little pieces made to carry a feeling forward.

A home for keepsakes, small works, and meaningful creations inspired by the people and moments that leave their mark.

SUPPORT WORK

Care, dignity, connection—and the work of showing up.

A place to talk about personal support work, end-of-life care, community, and the human side of helping.

ABOUT CHRISTINE

A maker, grower,
collector and teller
of stories.

I’m Christine. I live in Perth, Ontario, where the garden grows over Canadian Shield rock, the weather rarely follows instructions and there is always another project underway.

This is where I’m bringing those projects together: the things I make with my hands, the plants I fuss over, the histories I uncover and the ordinary moments that turn out not to be ordinary at all.

A small photograph will live here one day.
