Come in.
There’s room.

For gardens and art. For useful work and odd little discoveries. For the things that make us stop, look closer and tell somebody else what we saw.

Welcome

A place for the things I make, grow, notice and carry with me.

Come in. Wander a little. Stay as long as you’d like.

From the private writing desk

To-‘DAY’ or
To-‘DAH’?

A small story about a flower name, the people who say it differently and the way ordinary words become attached to memory.

What catches my eye

Some stories arrive as photographs first.

Portrait photographs get to stay tall. Wide photographs get room to breathe. Nothing has to be forced into the same little box.

Look closer.

The details are usually where the real story is hiding.

Room 03

The studio

Art, making and the joyful bits in between.

Paint, cyanotypes, handmade things, garden decoration and whatever idea has managed to make itself impossible to ignore.

A favourite today

The garden is never really quiet. You just have to stand still long enough to hear what it is saying.

One photograph. One sentence. One small story from whatever is holding my attention right now.

Work with me

Good projects begin with someone paying attention.

I take on thoughtful, people-centred projects involving gardens, personal support, art, storytelling and the kinds of ideas that do not always fit neatly into one category.

The work begins by listening closely, asking good questions and figuring out what truly matters to the person, place or community at the centre of it.
